Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and understand how visitors use the site. Lumipact uses a minimal set of cookies — only what is necessary to operate the platform and understand traffic in aggregate.

Cookies we use

TypePurpose
AuthenticationSupabase sets session cookies (sb-access-token, sb-refresh-token) to keep you logged in to app.lumipact.com. These are strictly necessary and cannot be opted out of while using the app.
PreferencesWe store your language preference and UI settings in localStorage so the app behaves consistently across sessions.
Analytics — PostHogWe use PostHog to understand how visitors interact with the platform. Before consent, PostHog runs in memory-only mode (no cookies, no persistent ID). After consent it stores a session identifier in localStorage.
Analytics — Google Analytics 4GA4 collects aggregate page view data to help us understand traffic sources. We use Google Consent Mode v2. If you decline analytics, only anonymised, non-identifiable data is sent.

What we do not use cookies for

  • Advertising or retargeting — we do not serve ads or share data with ad networks.
  • Cross-site tracking — we do not track you across other websites.
  • Selling data — we do not sell or share cookie data with third parties for commercial purposes.

Some cookies are set by third-party services we use:

Managing and disabling cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View cookies currently stored by a site
  • Block cookies from specific sites or all third-party cookies
  • Delete all cookies on exit

Note that disabling authentication cookies will prevent you from logging in to app.lumipact.com. Disabling analytics cookies has no effect on the core product.

Browser-specific instructions: Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data. Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data. Safari — Preferences → Privacy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove third-party services. Changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date.
