Settings
For everyone · 6 min read
Settings are found at Settings in the left navigation. Some sections are visible only to Owners and Admins.
Profile
All users can edit their own profile:
- Display name — How your name appears to teammates and in the audit log.
- Language — Interface language (English, Danish, Swedish, Italian).
- Default department — Pre-selected department when you add a new contract.
- Renewal alert preferences — Which time windows trigger an alert email (90 days, 60 days, etc.). You can enable multiple windows.
Workspace Admin only
- Workspace name — Displayed in the top navigation and in emails.
- Default currency — Used as the pre-selected currency when adding contracts.
- Departments — Add, rename, or remove department labels. Set a default department for new contracts.
Team Admin only
Invite members, change roles, and remove members. See the Team & Roles guide.
Entities Admin only
Create and configure entities (legal entities or business units), and manage which team members have access to each entity. See the Entities guide.
Notifications
Control how you receive alerts. Currently Lumipact sends renewal alerts by email. Toggle email notifications on or off here. Alert timing is configured per-user in Profile.
Calendar sync
Get your personal ICS feed URL to subscribe in Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar. The feed shows upcoming renewal action deadlines. See Renewals — Calendar sync.
Security
All users can manage their own security settings:
- Change password — Update your account password.
- Two-factor authentication (2FA) — Enable TOTP-based 2FA using an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.). Once enabled, you must enter a code from your app on every login.
Account
Manage your account — delete your personal account (not the workspace) or export your data. Deleting your account removes your profile but does not delete the workspace or any contracts.
AI Model Admin only
By default, Lumipact uses its own Anthropic API key for all AI processing. If your organisation needs contract data to be processed under your own Anthropic account (for data residency or privacy reasons), you can connect your own key here.
- Paste your Anthropic API key in the API key field.
- Click Test & verify. Lumipact checks that the key is valid and has access to the required model.
- Choose a fallback mode:
- Keep AI working — If your key is temporarily unavailable, Lumipact falls back to its default model and records this in the audit log.
- Guarantee my provider only — AI features pause if your key is unavailable. No fallback to Lumipact's key.
- Click Save.
Once connected, all AI extraction, contract chat, and Ask AI calls route through your Anthropic key. You can rotate the key, change the fallback mode, or disconnect at any time.
Slack Admin only
Send contract renewal reminders and action deadline alerts to a Slack channel using an incoming webhook. Notifications mirror the email renewal digest — one message per day per workspace, grouped by urgency.
- In Slack, go to Apps → Incoming Webhooks and click Add to Slack.
- Choose the channel that should receive contract alerts, then copy the webhook URL.
- In Lumipact, go to Settings → Slack and paste the URL.
- Click Test first to send a test message and confirm delivery.
- Click Connect Slack to save.
Once connected, you can toggle which event types trigger a Slack message:
- Renewal reminders — alerts at 90, 60, 30, 14, 7, 3, and 1 day before renewal. On by default.
- Action deadlines — notice period deadline reminders. On by default.
Each Slack message shows the contract name, counterparty, renewal date, and a View contract button. Urgency is indicated by colour: red for 3 days or fewer, orange for 14 days or fewer, yellow for further out.
Audit Log Admin only
A tamper-evident log of all significant actions in your workspace — contract changes, user invitations, setting changes, AI events, and more. Filter by action type, user, or date range. The audit log is read-only and cannot be cleared.
Developer Admin only
Register OAuth apps and manage access tokens for integrations. This is used for connecting Claude Desktop or building custom integrations via the Lumipact MCP server. See Integrations.
